Congratulations to the Varsity Football team who will begin 8 man Football playoffs Saturday, October 31st at 1 pm on our own field. The Pirates will play host to Ashley.
A ticket link will be made available to the parents of the players sometime Monday afternoon so I need each parent of our players to email me their email address so I can pass the ticket link on to them. Please do not share this link with anyone. Etickets will be made available to parents until Wednesday then the remainder will be made available to the general public. No tickets will be available for purchasing at the gate. Any student in grades 9-12 who is interested in dual enrolling for second semester should see Mrs. Blatt today for more information. Students who are currently dual enrolled this semester have been given the paperwork for second semester which should be returned by 10/29.
JH Football Players: There seems to be some confusion about equipment turn-in/pizza party. Official equipment turn in is Tuesday Oct. 27th at 3:00 and end at 4:00. Players can turn things in earlier if they want.
Please remember MyCards orders are due tomorrow, 10/23/2020. Return the envelope with your child’s artwork and payment enclosed. Cost is $15 per box. Boxes come with 10 cards and envelopes, featuring your child’s artwork on the front. Thank you for your support!

Here are some instructions for attending the Ashley Varsity Football game. We are limited in tickets so each player and coach will get 3 apiece leaving about 10 extra tickets. They are asking that you have them filled out before arriving at the gate. The cost to get in game is $5.00 and they are asking for exact change. The gates will open at 6:15 p.m. The address of the field is 104 North New Street, Ashley, MI 48806.
Lions Club popcorn will be available but no other concession items. Please stay behind the roped area at all times. Masks are required. At the conclusion of the game they are asking spectators to meet their athletes in the parking lot and not on the field.
Seniors and parents are invited to a Financial Aid Night on Tuesday, October 27th at 7:00pm in the media center. St. Clair Community College will present a virtual presentation on financial aid and completing the FAFSA. This presentation will be from 7-8pm. After the presentation we will offer assistance for anyone who would like to work on the FAFSA or has specific questions. Please be sure to bring the required documents if you plan to work on your FAFSA. This list has been given to all seniors. No sign up is needed. We look forward to seeing you on the 27th.

Just a reminder that this week is parents night for the junior high, junior varsity and varsity volleyball teams Junior high is Monday night between the 7th and 8th grade games and Thursday night for the junior varsity and varsity between games. The only parents that will social distance on the floor will be the senior players parents all other players will come to their parents in the stands. Thank you parents for supporting your athletes during this fall season. See you later this week!
