JOB POSTING: JUNIOR HIGH TRACK COACH
Peck Community Schools is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced coach to lead our Junior High Track team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of track & events, leadership skills, and a commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field.
Responsibilities
Organize and manage all aspects of the Junior High Track program..
Develop practice plans
Promote team values such as teamwork, discipline, and respect
Foster an inclusive, positive, and competitive environment for student-athletes
Coordinate with school administration, athletic staff and parents
Ensure compliance with all relevant league and school policies
Build a communication network with student athletes and parents-in and out of season. This includes a pre-season meeting for parents and student-athletes, and post season banquet/award ceremony.
Qualifications:
Previous coaching experience preferred
Strong knowledge of track & field and leadership abilities
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to create a positive team culture
