Dear Peck Elementary Pirates and Parents,
As we all know, having to temporarily pause in-person learning is not something we like to do, but for the health and safety of our community and respect for our front line workers, Peck Community Schools will follow the recommendations of our local health department and will be closed from 4/12/21-4/23/21.
That being said, for this two week period, we are taking a true pause. We will not be sending homework packets or logging into online curriculum. Instead, we ask that your children get outside and play, read, and get creative. IN ORDER TO COUNT THESE TWO WEEKS AS INSTRUCTIONAL TIME, we also ask that you log your child into zoom meetings on Tuesday and Thursday each week at 10:00am. We encourage siblings to login together in order to save bandwidth and make things less confusing for your family. If you are unable to get logged in due to lack of technology or internet, please simply call 810-378-5200 and leave a message so we can mark your child(ren) present.
The class with the highest amount of participation will get a special treat when we return. If we get over 150 students logged into the zoom calls, we will have a special treat for EVERYONE when they get back!
Below is the schedule for zoom and the activities each day:
