Week of 9/28/20

Elementary

  • All K-5 students have R.E.D. Folders they bring home.  Most classes send those home every evening.  Please send those back to school the following school day with homework, notes, or other items to be returned to school. 

  • Reminder: Any students who wish to ride the bus to a friend's house or alternative drop off must have a note from their parent turned in to the office by noon the day they intend to ride.  Permission will be granted by the principal and the note will be shared with the appropriate drive

  • Candy and Snack Cart sales will begin on 10/2/2020.  Snacks will be $1 and will be available every FRIDAY.

  • We have room in our preschool for ages 30 months to five years.  Please contact the office today to get more information and the paperwork ASAP.  Get your little Pirate registered today!

  • If you are doing virtual schooling and are having any problems or issues, please contact your child’s teacher directly using email or call the school office at 810-378-5200.

  • You will find a Virtual Consent form in your child’s folder this week.  PLEASE sign and return.  THIS IS ONLY IN THE EVENT THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO DO DISTANCE LEARNING.  

  • Please turn in your yellow free/reduced lunch application.  You do not have to if you have a letter stating your child(ren) qualifies.

  • Virtual Meal pickup is every Wednesday from 12:30-1:00.

  • Cereal Boxes are needed for 4th and 5th grade STEM classes.  Please send in your empty cereal boxes by 10/2 if you have any to donate.

Junior High/ High School

  • Please return your signed handbook, lunch form, and virtual consent form to your English teacher.

  • Virtual meal pickup is Wednesday from 12:30-1 in the circle drive.

  • There will be no admission fee for Fall athletics.  All attendees must be invited by a guest and have the proper ticket for both home and away events.

  • Sign up for an NFHS Network account to catch live action of volleyball and football. 

  • Please do not enter the school until 8:15 am on school days.

  •  If your family could use extra food each week, please sign up for the Weekend Food Program. Forms are located in both offices.

  • The next virtual learning day is October 14th. 6th, 7th, and 12th grades will NOT report on that day.

  • Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, October 15th from noon-3 pm and 4-7 pm.  Students will be released at 11:30 am.  No lunches will be served.
